Time to replace the OEM grips on my 2006 Heritage Classic. Wondering what you chose? Did you install them? Adhesive type or not?

take a look at the ones from Avon- Ive been very pleased with them.
They look good, and the rubber compound is comfortable, and sticky at the same time.
If you play golf--they are the same company that makes Avon grips for golf clubs. Not the Avon tire company. They been doing it for years.

I went with some cheapy rubber $10 grips and I love them. They work for the style I'm doing my bike, but they might not be your cup of tea.

I got the Nostalgic ones. Nice feel with gloves on, or off. I had to get used to the bigger diameter of the grip...I was giving it more gas than I wanted to at times LOL

i am looking at the Avon grips as well. I am currently riding with HD grips. They look great but on long rides there a bit to hold on to.

I went with these. Not sure what they are called but they are HD grips. About $60 retail, no glue. The throttle side is understood. The left side fits in under the switchgear. Easy to put on. Feel great, gloves on or off and I liked the 'leather' look on a Heritage.

I originally put on the Kury Isos, while comfortable, they weren't the look I wanted. I changed em to the HD Black Diamond. Too many choices so go with what look and feel you want.

The left grip, piece of cake. The right grip took me quite a while messin with the throttle and idle cables since the damn ferrules kept poppin out on me.

I used adhesive on the Kurys but not on the HD since they don't "butt up" but fit right into the grooves.

Take your time on the throttle side and you should be fine.
