Man these new bikes scrape easily. In a curve even slightly aggresive it scrapes. Wife was like what are you doing to the new bilke, she saw sparks. I told her everyone says its normal. Kinda straightens you up though. How far do most of you go after scrape starts?? Maybe this will save me from a high side.....
I've got a demons bell lower than the floorboard so I hear that go off and I know I'm close to the 'rub the rust off the bottom' of the floorboard. Never had any issues with getting hung up or control. I figure in about three more years I may need to replace at least my right floorboard hahahahaha.

Hey I've been sraping on my 06 Fatboy since I got it in May. I don't consider myself an aggressive rider either. I'm 6'2" about 210 and most of the time when I scrape I' riding solo. Talked to a Cycle Cop yesterday who rides a Harley all day every day and he showed me where he had the mechanic raise his boards. Gotta look closer at mine cuz I don't want the knees in my chin. Jim

It would be nice to have adjustable height boards. Even if you weren't scraping, just from a comfort stand point would be nice.
I have Softail Deluxe shocks (lowers the rear 3/4") on mine and the only time I scrape is riding 2-up...even then I've only done it twice since lowering the bike about 2 months ago. I have the shock preload set on one threar from max.
