Darn, you beat me to them. Enjoy and drop me a report on how you like them. One question for the experts. If you do not have a detachable sissy bar, do they still stick out an extra inch on both sides?

I have them without detachable, my wife has them with detachable. She does have a larger gap between her saddlebags and fender strut then I do caused by the MOCO detachable hardware kit.

Good point. I don't like how Barebacks make my bags wider across the rear. They added about 1 inch to each side. Removing and installing bags with Barebacks is also tricky until you get the hang of it.

Default Barebacks on my Fatboy Lo

I just installed the bolts on my strut, they don't look to bad with my quick detachable docking hardware. I was surprised when I called cycle vision to order they told me they had the black caps. I thought I was going to have to order the chrome ones and have them powder coated. Now I have to wait tell next week when my bags arrive. Here are a few pics, not that good but I will post more when the install is complete.
