Fat Boy Storage
One more thing I would sometimes do is pull the plugs and spray in a little fogging oil and then move the bike around a little in 5th gear, thereby moving the pistons, and then put the plugs back in. A little overkill, but for those who like overkill it's one more thing to do.
Funny topic; I did mine yesterday! I took a long ride and emptied the tank. ON the way home I stopped for gas. The 5 gal FB tank would use 1OZ of Stable and I use just a bit more. USE THE BLUE STABLE: it is "Marine" but it is made to deal with the Ethanol, etc and is a far better product than the standard for all winterization. We use it in the toy cars too. Anyway after that, either a trickle charger or pull the batteries as stated above. Then cover it so you won't be tempted to ride on ice!
Winter sure sux.. put my mistress to bed for 6-7 months.... I'm looking into southern NM, lived there before and rode year round. Vegas gets some serious winds jan-feb time frame. Sea Foam, battery tender, lovingly caressed and waxed, covered up. Man.... every year when it gets cold I can hear my baby cry..... she misses me....
