Hey dpayne, I've got an 03 and the pillion mounts to the rider seat with 2 screws underneath the seat. Just wondering if your 08 mounts the same? Does the grasshoopper b/r mount there as well?

I recall seeing two bolts, but I do not remember since I had my Harley tech put in on my motorcycle when he had my bike apart last week doing a cam change for me. Here is there website, www.grasshopperlimited.com

That looks nice, does it just slide out when you don't need it on there?

I am also curious about what it looks like with the passenger seat removed.

Yes, it just snaps right off, and when you want to put it back on, it snaps back on in seconds!

Looks great. Thank you taking the time to provide those great pictures. How does it look without the pillion? Thanks again.

Thumbs up

I was looking at the Cavalry backrest of the same nature... http://www.cavalrycustoms.com/store/...backrests.html

...but after seeing this one from Grasshopper, i may just go with this, the backrest pad looks better imo.

Thanks for the link!
