Im like the backrest very much, it moved me up in the seat a little but not to where it was odd. It is really easy to install and removing it is so easy and u cant even tell the bracket is there. I thank you for taking time to post your thoughts and pics. I have took two all day rides and am very pleased.

Isn't it a "one size fits all"?
Any adjustments forward and backward, up and down, tilt back and forth?

I just installed one on my Heritage, and love it. There does not appear to be any adjustment, other than bending the pad mount a bit more. I mistakenly started another thread entitled "Support Gear", but I'll add any follow up here. Attached are some pictures as I have it mounted without the passenger seat. Keep in mind the mounting bracket will be hidden when the passenger seat is in place.

I just got mine the other day, seems to work fine on my 2010 for a 'test fitting', no rides yet. In a couple weeks I'll be heading to the UP (michigan) from the Detroit area, I hope I dont fall asleep.

Based on this comment by the Grasshopper representative I purchased and fitted the Solo Studded version for my 2010 FLSTC (with stock seats)
"The difference is in the height you can use the solo with passenger pad on but you can not use the regular one without the seat on."
It is great with solo seat but there is no way I can fit it on with the back seat on without possibly causing damage to the rear seat, The passenger seat on my bike(which is stock from the factory) would have to be squeezed back about an inch or a bit more – if I start forcing it the passenger pad would lift and separate from its frame
It is a good product but be careful ordering remotely without seeing it first on your model.

Does the backrest fold forward? Being of short leg, on & off could be a problem.
