Tail light problem with Softbrake Install
[QUOTE=rockchalk08;8094629]Got it. And yes to all of your questions.[/QUOTE
Threads pasted in the night..I re-read your first post and sounds like you did it right. 1 Grey (+) lead from the bike to the old plate light, would be cut from old socket and wired directly to the white (+) lead from the new plate. Black lead to a ground. You left nothing going to the old light socket right ? The bottom bulb is the 2 filament run/brake light. Has 2 wires going to it. Then farther down i read, you found a fuse blown, same connections, fuse blew again. Has to be the new LED plate is shorted..OR, if that tests out ok on it's own, you got a pinched wire shorting out some where..If the new plate checks out ok, rewire it again with all wires exposed.. If works, bundle it up and go have a beer.. you deserve it.
