changed the battery the other day and noticed the seat strap really gets in the way since i have the larger passenger pad that will not slip through the strap. I was thinking about taking it off and looked at the owners manual. I was hoping that it would be attached like the seat and i could just unscrew/bolt it. however it looks like it has a nut on the inside of the fender. Is there an easy way to get to this nut, or do i have to try and go up from under the fender? thanks, GTG
LOL, sorry alot of us were out riding this morning and didn't see it. Anyway, I decided to leave mine on. It isn't hard (on my NT) to slide the seat under it and I've become so used to tucking my sunglasses in it when I buy gas.
The strap for my original Badlander seat was folded up and out of sight under the seat when the bike was delivered to my dealer. That's where it's stayed since I bought the bike in '06. Useless as **** on a nun.
