FINALLY Joe King Speed Shop 3/4 helmet has arrived
Just thought I'd share. Most people probably haven't even heard of these. It took over 2 months to get.No its not DOT nor is it cheap. This is hands down the nicest quality helmet I have ever owned. Its the smallest 3/4 shell you will ever find period. These are hand made one at a time in Brazil. They are a hand laid fiberglass shell, real leather goggle strap .Real leather old school Fulmer style 2button 3 snap chin strap with thick double d rings.Thick chrome strip around the helmet.Hand sewn velour and mesh lining. And the silver metal flake paint is just ridiculous. As you can tell I am pretty excited about this helmet.Pics dont do the craftsman ship justice.
Nice lid. So you are saying that it is better looking and better fitting than a Biltwell.
The Biltwell's fit good and look great. They are a one size fits most. These have sizes like a reg helmet. The Biltwells have a plastic shell. You can not even compare the quality it's not even close.Size comparo.Black is a Fulmer V2 DOT,silver Joe King non DOT,Gold Loser Machine non DOT(size of the biltwell).I sold my Biltwell.
There are no prices on his site. Can we get a ball park figure on the cost? I know it's rude to ask, but I really like the looks of it and want to know if it is in my budget or alck there of a budget.

Hot do you wear goggles with that helmet? Looks pretty cool.
I am working with another forum member on one of these. When I get some info I'll let you guys know. I might try and become a dealer. My only concern is the lead time coming from Brazil and all. Let me know if you are interested so I can see if it is worth it to become a dealer.
