Got a problem!
Sorry to hear the starter burned up on you. My problem was Automatic start.
I checked everything...all switches, checked all the harnesses for shorts, replaced start relay, checked the TSM module, pulled the starter solenoid out and cleaned it up.
It turned out to be the start switch...it read o.k. with a multimeter(dead short when closed, and open when disengaged). Problem only occurred with power to the switch.
Don't know If there was a bad batch of switches out there or not...I took the switch apart...saw some dirt on the contacts but no other visible signs.
Installed new switch, and all is well so far. Hopefully I caught it before damaging the starter too much.
At least your good to go now!
