ok, i see your point. So, that means for reasons only known to the supplier, the chrome fork tin is somehow a different shape at the bottom from stock and hence hitting the cross bar of the passing lights bracket. How ridiculous.
So, i guess my options are now, either forget the whole thing, swap out the nice chrome fork cover for a stock brushed one, or cut up the bracket.

Hold on...you can get a chrome one, but it may not be OEM..Drag Specialties will have one

Yes, it'll be exactly like the OEM one. Ther's a few manufacturers that offer them. This is what you're looking for. The
link is just a suggestion, you'll have to find one that fits your Fatboy. I'm sure they're out there.
