I just picked up a used light setup and I seem to be missing something, or maybe just the wrong bracket. In the pic you can see at the top mounting hole there is almost 1/2" of space. The bottom hole seems to fit fine. Am I missing something or is it just the wrong bracket for my '08 FB?
Aha! I see. Does the resulting gap look too out of place?
Well, that's what the stock Heritage looks like. The one thing that bothers me and I'm going to change when I get to that point on the list is that the bolts don't look good especially with the empty third hole which is for the windshield that is never on the bike. (My sig pic was riding the bike from Cleveland to Miami just after I bought it so I could load it onto a ship and get it home.) Windshield hasn't been on since then. With the gas tanks on the bike, that blocks a lot of the open area that can be seen.
I made a couple spacers which should work ok. Now the crossbar of the lights hits the front fork cover so the bottom holes will not line up. They are about 1/4" off. Now what?
