I have a softail standard (2004) EFI model. I am having problems with it stalling when riding. It doesn't matter if the gas tank is full or empty. When at a stop light the engine revs up and when I try to give it gas it wants to stall. It will stall when I am driving down the road and give it gas, it acts up and then runs good for awhile and then starts acting up again. Also the engine light doen't come on. I had it to the local HD shop and there is no computer codes stored on the bike and it ran perfect for them when it was there.

It turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator housing had a hair line crack. Replaced that and now runs perfect!

Good to hear you found it. Pin hole leak was going to be my guess. Did you hear any hissing sounds before?
