Well that is my opinion just like your comments above are your opinion. At the end of the day people need to be responsible for there own actions too.

Man, this has turned into a full on pissing match. The same thing happened in the RC world several years ago. All of the big time sponsored pilots where flying DA engines and talking smack about all of the China built engines. Until one china built engine brand came out that had more torque and revved higher and was lighter than the DA American built brand. After a few months the China brand DLE line of engines started getting a lot of U.S. based customer support and before you knew it a lot of the big time factory sponsored pilots started flying with DLE engines. For the simple reasons that they outperformed the American produced DA brand plus they were several hundred dollars cheaper and all of the customer support that you could ask for was there. Just saying.........

This sort of makes me laugh considering some of the R/C pilots I know were being flown to "China" and were involved in the design process by some US based companies who had manufacturing done in the PRC. Another person I know of Chinese origin purchased his father's US based company who later went to work for one of the largest R/C distributors in the United States--in competition against his son. Other US Citizens I know wanted other US Citizens who know the Chinese language to help them make manufacturing deals in China. Ironically, at a trade show in LA, I saw some Chinese products that appeared identical to those put out by some of the Japanese based companies who also had distributerships in the US.

I will also be attending SEMA soon and last year some of the largest groups of people in the "business dealing" area were from either China or India, not to be confused with the "demo" areas.

In the past, complaints about overseas products typically also dealt with quality control. However, the same thing happens inside the United States. Franchisees are a good example since though the Franchisor may adequately train the Franchisee, it's doesn't mean that the Franchisee necessarily complies with the standards set by the Franchisor. Small mom and pop shops also experience growing pains and may just grow too fast for them to keep up with.

All I know is that I've been thinking about purchasing wheels as well; however, at times I wonder if it is just better to stick with what I have. Sometimes, that is also why I like to purchase locally through the dealer. It may cost more, but if I have a problem, they are located "here" and hopefully, they can rectify the problem.

LOL, hear you, talking about vergazos, I just saw 6 pretty good boxing matches, caught the semi-finals from 52 kilos to 91, rucas also, the panamerican games are taking place in town. Cubans and Mexicans took the show.

Take care,

Mimo.
