Forgive my stupidity but are there any advantages to running tubeless, surely to run tubes is an added guard against rim leaks. I think I would run them anyway.

tubeless allows you to patch a hole, and get down the road.. that is my thinking
I've got DNA on the rear, leaked once hasn't done it again (fingers crossed). When I get the front, a tube is going in it. I had a hell of time getting mine mounted, had to have the pulley spacer machined, and my axle spacers.
If money wasn't an issue I'd get these in the big spoke, scroll to the bottom...... http://www.harleycustom.com/Prod-TTS...est-9-461.html
With either of these wheels, would it be safe to say that while running tubless that, the leak would show up right away and not after running for a long time. Would like to buy one of these wheels and thought I could put it on this winter when I'm not counting on my bike so much and try it out tubeless and would have more time to "f around with it" if it leaked.
Tubeless if you get a nail or screw in the tire you can plug it and get home. Once a tube gets a flat your done... My Indy is the DNA distributors down here and he said if they leak they leak slow most times? I really was thinking I was gonna run tubes but had a really hard time finding the tube for my 23" front.
i have been running fat spokes for over four years now i run tubes in them. I change my tires at 10,000 miles would push them twelve if i were near the end of a season, never had any problems to day
