I think that 2003 100 year anny paint job is great. Just leave it.

I will be!
I know it's a sticking point with alot of people...
The bags, and fenders... Are different black than the tank...
I'd love a big fender for the front???

But I will be getting everything but the tank painted vivid black... May even find that place that sells the tape and get the fenders and bags done up like a factory style job!

For the record... Don't care how many they made...
I love the 2003 anniversary paint.

i would just change front wheel, not keen on thunderstar, a nice ride wright up front!

Again.... Kinda funny how this bike just appeared....
I have always liked the thunderstar...
I love the look of a bike with a 21" non spoke front, and a solid rear..
It's almost as if, whoever built this bike... Built it for me... Seriously....
Other than the exhaust...

You can get the 2003 stripes on ebay. If i were to do this I would definitely get the stripes as well. make it as authentic as possible.

i didnt realise you could get just stripes, no badge though??
i have looked at 03 tins

arent peoples tastes so different, i like the exhaust but not the thunderstar? lol, does look nice on yours

Trials and tribulations...,,
Frustrating!!!
Put aluminum shims in!!!
Tightened up nice.... Good gaps.... Still slipped....
Went and no skid tape...
One wrap around the bars... A few tiny pieces on each surface of the risers..

This Is how I hAd to get her home...
