Well, thanks to all the advice I received here on this forum I purchased my very first Harley, a 2007 Heritage Softail Classic.
I should maybe explain a little bit about myself...for the past two years I've been riding a 2006 Yamaha v star 1100. I bought that bike with 1500 miles on it and it now has just under 13000 miles. Put 5000 on just this past summer. I LOVE to ride!
Congrats on the new ride. If you plan on doing any of your own service work on your new baby, get the service manual. These bike are in no way like your Japanese machine...don't make any assumptions as to how things are done. Have fun with it!!
