I sat on a 2012 lo today. Those new bars are really nice and would have saved me having to buy Street slammers. Also sat on an FLD. It seemed a lot lighter to move around even though it only a few pounds lighter.
I say on a '12 Lo yesterday. Great improvement from my '10 lo bars. Does anyone know if you can put the '12 bars on my '10 without changing cables / wires. Maybe get away with just the brake??
I did the swap on my 2011 LO to the 2012 Lo bars. I have ABS on my bike and I had to change the upper brake line. All other cables and wiring were fine. I just ordered the upper ABS line from the moco had them install it and reset the ABS computer. I did the rest of the work myself. The line is costly at $106 and half hour labor for the install and reset. But at last I can ride more comfortably with out locking my elbows. Hope this helps. BTW you can get the bars for less the $130.00.

Thanks Mate
I asked the local dealers about this a week ago & was told the 2012 bars wouldn't fit the 2011 due to different switching gear & you've also answered another question about what they have to do to the ABS if the lines need to be changed.
Think I might still just try the 4" risers as that's easy & I wont have to ride 400kms to get the ABS reset.
Even with ABS? If that is true with 2012 bars should not need a new brake line, pull back is only increased by 3-3.5". But i am no expert. I do fully agree with the 2012 bars being much more comfortable.
