High quality Custom paint adds to the resale value of the bike. Regardless of limited edition. Colormania started the factory's custom paint program back in 1999 and we learned quickly; Radical paint jobs do add to the value of motorcycles.
Custom paint is basically art and value of any form of art is simply measured by; what people are willing to pay for it. If the art work on the bike is not desirable, then the paint job can actually make the bike hard to sell and lower its value, but if the paint job has a WOW factor and is highly desirable, then of course you can ask more for the bike and you will get it.
Based on our experience; the paint job on this bike is very desirable and this bike will not blend in when parked among other bikes with stock paint. It is a proven fact that many Customer's are willing to pay more for a bike that demands attention and does not blend in.
We have shipped custom paint to more than 500 motorcycle dealers and they all agree; QUALITY custom paint sells bikes and sells them for more $, because people are willing to pay more for the extra ordinary.
Factory custom paint is a top quality & costly accessory, how could it not rase the value of a bike?
All you do is replace the paint set with the original the bike came with and sell it seperately so technically you do get more for your bike it's not hard to work out ....
This is the ONLY way that you can get more for a custom paint set.
WARG ... There is that of course to add to the mix .... but i have had my paint set 5 years now and lost count of the rallies and thousands of miles i have ridden .... over all this time have only seen one other .... But it has that little stamp which to me would make it a easier and a more desirable sale should i ever wish to sell be it on the bike or seperately

I´m huge skull fan, but that paint job does nothing for me, if the bike it self is in great running condition then great, but I would not pay extra money for that paint job. However the HD design on the tannk is nice. if you like it that is the only thing that matters. as to the OP. Custom paint doe not add to blue book, you can try and sell it as a one off, but most people, if they want it custom will do it themselves.
