Salt Dust
#21
I think you guys are dealing with a much heavier case of salt that we do then......becasue the little bit they use here hasn't had that kind of detrimental effect. If the roads are dry, but the asphalt has a kind of greyish color to it, I've ridden and haven't had a problem.
I guess I really need to move south....but don't feel like dealing with killer bees, cockroaches, humidity, crime, and illegals.

Well the snow is on the ground now and the temp is 16 ... I think we're all done until spring break.
I wanted to hit the road this week. Tuesday was the pick day and Wednesday close to 50. But after so many warm days the frost in the ground was melted and the road, beginning with my drive was a soupy mess of mud. I'm one block from pavement and sometimes that can interfere. I don't like attempting to drive through anything that may cause the bike to go down. Been there, done that, and learned my lesson.
