Just got my bike back from a Stage IV Motor Upgrade and I have a SE Heavy Breather on there now. Not sure I'm digging the look and it seems kinda odd when I ride the bike. Dare I say " I miss the Football " ???
Anywho, my questions are:
1. Do you guys leave the sock on all the time ?
2. No harm in that I quess?
3. When you wash your bike is the sock good enough or do you wrap it with a plastic bag or something to keep the water out ?
i have the fatboy lo i always like the look of the football air cleaner. what i did i put the dark custom air cleaner trim piece in looks preety cool matches the rest of my bike. i never like the look of the heavy breather
Ive got 2 socks (cant remember why I have 2), but Ive never used them. I keep it in my saddle bag just in case I get caught in a downpour, but its not hard to keep water off of it when washing
sock on all the time i like the look with it on, never had a problem with washing,
i also like the leg room beter with the heavy breather the football was not comfortable it pushed my leg out too far

Yeah I kinda like the look of it on. Was just wondering if there where any negatives to leaving it on all the time ?
I quess maybe it will grow on me. The SE Heavy Breather cost me enough money so I'm gonna leave it on for at least a full season of riding and then evaluate. Just seems a little WIERD being new to me I quess. Never liked the look but it seems to get good reviews performance wise.
