...is a good idea. Apparently, my indy either doesn't think so or it just happened to slip his mind.
I lost 1 bolt, 2 are in my pocket and the 2 remaining are loose. My brand new pulley is thrashed from grinding against the swing arm...which means that's got rash on it too. Hopefully the threads aren't fcked in the hub of my brand new RW.
Everything was brand new...and costly! I have to call him first thing in the morning. Dude better make it REAL right. I consider this a serious ef up. It's a good thing I was rolling pretty easy around neighborhoods close to home and not out on the damn highway.
Youre paying good money so you shouldnt have to tell em how to do there job. Anything other than fixing it right is an excuse and I would question all the work. Could have been an oversite but he still needs to man up and he probably will.
Dayum brutha! Glad you made it home safely. Tell him he's going to have to pick it up. Agree, your paying good money to have work done, you sure shouldn't have to tell them how to do it. I'd be twisted pissed, surly they'll stand by they work.
Man sorry to here that. Sounds like your indy will be ponying up for some new parts. What kind of a pro wouldnt put thread lock on those bolts? You shouldnt have to tell him to do that. Thats why I do all my own work. I pay attention when I put that spendy **** on my sled. Lot of people are asleep at the wheel these days. Good luck on getting your sled fixed.
Wow.. essentially all 5 bolts were bad? sounds like he tightened them down til they were snug, then went to get the torque wrench, and by the time he got back to the pulley he forgot why he got the torque wrench.. i loc-tite almost every bolt on my bike with at a minimum of blue..
