windshield: Pros- no bugs,no wind burn, you can relax and
enjoy the ride.
cons- NONE because I dont care who thinks Im
a dork. Im comfortable!!
I do take mine off for around town but it is so much more comfortable with it on the long runs.
Like others, I don't like the look of a windshield, (several - points from your cool quotient) but in the cold and wind, it's a trade off I take. If it ever freakin' gets warm here, it comes off.
Got the HD removable screen. Take it off for local riding, back on for hiway. I live way out of town, so most my riding begins and ends with a nice, long hiway run. I ran without one for a while, but did not like the rocks and rock hard bugs in the chest/face. After I got one, within weeks a freaking duck flew up from the side of the road and nailed my screen. I've hit a couple small birds with it also. Call it what u will, but I will never go without one on the road.
