More capacity battery
My 2005 cvo fatboy has from the beginning had a hard time turning over after sitting for a long period of time, cold or hot. When it's hot it really has to groan to get going; it's a little scary if it is going to turnover or not. So far it hasn't let me down. Since it is now going on 7 years , a new battery would be a good idea. Does anyone know where you can get a battery for this fatty that has more stuff than oem? Thanks in advance ....joe

You could also check the battery connections to see ya got a tite connection. Seen loose too many times. It's not like ya have ahigh compression engine that wasnt set up correctly with the start gear.

But Tampa Fatboy is right, the OEM battery with good connection and a battery tender should do you just fine.

Just put a new one in the bike this week. Org Batt Almost 5yrs old to the day.
I bought this one from Battery Plus.. it has 310 vs HD's 260 CCA's..

It was on sale plus they gave me the OLD mans discount, ended up $91.44 out the door. with 1 Yr warranty. They also have one with a 2 yrs warranty but they didn't have one that fit my bike in stock. Think it was $15 more. Both are AGM's.
The HD battery was $129.95 before my 15% discount with only 6 months warranty, also its a 100 miles round trip to get it.
The Batt + store is two blocks away. Saved another $30 in gas.
Anyway just thought I'd try one for Batt +.

Ur CVO may have a totally diff battery in it, ??? if it lasted 7 yrs it sure was a good one.
Also I put the tender on mine if it sat any longer than 4-5 days and during winter storage.
