I just use a 20w resistor (wired parallel not in series) for each LED turn signal to mimic the load of a filament bulb (that's what load equalizers do). Cost about $1 apiece at radio shack.

Rookie here how do i wire in parallel? Do i need one for each blinker in front or just one for the entire front?

Should only need one equalizer. I only ran one, and had all 4 sigs as LED's at one point and they worked just fine.

Some equalizers are made for just the rear turn signals, some are made for all four.

One resistor for each blinker. Parallel means you wire it in like it was another bulb. One leg to the hot lead to the turn signal and one leg to ground.

+1 Tapped in under seat and tucked in behind battery. Between battery and fuse box.

That's exactly what you do, except I'm sure str8jacket meant 20 ohm resistor. A 20 watt resistor would be half the size of your battery. Resistors are cheap.

Have you even tried LEDs in the front signals yet? Maybe it works for both. If not, toss it and get the real deal and be done with it. Much better than running in-line resistors to each signal. :http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/868...ake-Controller

No, I meant 20 watt (8 ohm), not 20 ohm. They are actually very small.

A 20 ohm resistor on a 12 volt circuit would only draw about 7 watts (a little over .5 amps).

Amps = volts / ohms (Ohms Law), and watts = volts X amps.

Actually, the most common resistors used for this purpose are 6 ohm 25w. According to the manual, the OEM turn signal bulbs are 27w. I use 20w resistors instead of 25w because the LED's draw about 5w on their own.

str8jacket is exactly right, I'm not sure what I was thinking. Both metal oxide and ceramic resistors arn't that big.
