What are your averageoil temps on your 07' bike. Yesterday I noticedmine at approx. 215 degrees in 58 degree weather ( S.F. Bay Area ). I have a Softail Deluxe. The bike has 1100 mi, the 1000 mi service has been done with all synthetics. Is this temp typical?
Did your bike need the Service Bulletin ECM update and did you have it done?
My 07 Softail Custom oil temp was typically 215-220 before the update and is 190-200 after.
Where in the Bay Area? I'm in the South Bay, Milpitas.

Same here, before 251-220, after 190-200. A definate improvement.
No I havn't had the update yet. My dealer ( McGuires in Walnut Creek ) saidthe updates would be in after Jan 1st. Also do either of you have the stage 1 upgrade, I do. Just wondering, does it affect the performance of the stage 1 kit?
Thanks
They should have the update, it was part of their standard software down loadover a month ago.
Its not going to affect the stage 1 setup you have, but I wonder if it may have been part of that download.
When did you have that stage 1 ECM update done? If it was after about the middle of November it may already be in there.
