I don't know sorry but owners should have had the recall letter.
My speedo light still goes on and off since having the VR changed so I need to take it back in and get that looked at.
bbwilli, Did you ever get the problem fixed and if yes, what was the problem as I am having the exact problem and the dealer has no idea.
I know you didn't ask me. But when I had that problem where my speedometer wasn't working and all might light was off. They replaced the bcm. My bcm had a hair line crack on the backside from rattle around loose. After they fix it I had 2 years trouble free until I traded in my slim. They replaced the bcm and bracket that holds it in place.
I have a 2012 heritage and the red light comes on for a few seconds then off it just started at 18840 miles has did this but not on a consistent time
any thoughts on this Harley is lost no one knows what to do
My light was coming on on my 13 heritage, I had just replaced the grips. Apparently didn't get the brake switching back together right. Have you guys found out what code it's throwing? I think to do that you turn on the run button, then turn the ignition switch on. There's a sticky somewhere around here about how to do it.
My 16 FLS Slim does tjis red light bs once inawhile. 5 to 6 gear usally
What i realized is after replacing the brake lever, then eventually my grips (L/R) theres a wire that gets kinda snagged* the tendion is enough to syress out the connection and make light go on. I had to open ip housing & file/sand the part down it was catching on. Helped.
