Not that I'm an expert....actually a noob but a good friend of mine who has been riding for a really long time told me when I did my bars to make sure that I didn't have them so tight that they wouldn't give in an accident. Had a friend that got jacked because of this. Is it wrong?

Use scrimshaw (drywall sand paper) its like they are welded on. Oh yeah check the riser bolts after every ride they do get loose...
