Some new little goodies came in today for the Lux. A show polished stainless bolt and washer set for engine covers. Some people are happy with the chrome plastic caps but I prefer the real deal. Anyone ever consider purchasing any polished bolts I have had great luck with this and past purchases from Rick at cyclebolts. He has a store on Ebay with great prices. This set here was only $99.00 If anyone is wondering what the difference is between polished and show polished, the show polished have all of the knurls removed from the bolt heads so they are smooth.

Good snag ghost. I got show polished stainless steel kit from Alloy Boltz (ebay seller too) for I think $99.
If you add up the cost of the OEM chrome replacements from stealership vs these you save a boat load of coin considering just the clutch cover OEM bolt set is almost $60 The kits ghost and I have include the tranny bolts as well. Can't beat the price.
Ya can't beat'em for the price. Primary cover, derby cover, trans side cover, trans top cover, trans side door, timing cover, cam cover, lifter blocks, rocker boxes, speed sensor and crank sensor. That's a lot of bolts. I worship chrome but there are just some places I prefer not to use it, and engine fasteners is one of them.

Agreed ghost, it's all in the details brother.
Dean, you change them with all new gaskets? Or just changed them one at a time? If the latter, you get any leaks?
