I've worked with connectors for years...and these molex's suck. Got the pins out and back in ok but cant get the damn "secondary lock" to push back down. wtf? any suggestions?
i found when i did mine that i pulled the inner white locking plate completely out to remove the wires. its easy to push the white section out by pushing up on the white tabs exposed on the wire side of the connector. you have to remove the outer shield and rubber seals to see it though. then when reinstalling i put the white section back in about 1/2 way down then installed all the wires untill just the points were sticking about flush with the surface and then pushed the locking plate all the way in. but all it takes is one terminal to be to far up or slightly twisted and it won't go back in. but yeah they are a PITA...
alain this thread is gewd, gla d2 see ya back on here makin us all laugh !
those effers are the worst, had i known i would ve cut n solder, i guess ya have 2 do it just once to tell the story, cut that fender i cut 2 or 3 now LOL
Got a mig welder? .035 wire works wonders on the very connecter alain had trouble with I've had mine apart 3 times now with no issues besides putting two wires in the holes that are supposed to be blank lol
