The actual seat itself is a leather Corbin-Gentry reproduction of the
original 1925 police seat. The mount & covers are all pieced together
from HD seat mount kit & V-Twin Mfg.

Dont want to bore everyone else, but if you're interested in the detals, just ask.

hope this helps,

T.

Yes, more details please

I don't seem to be able to PM you, so sorry everyone else, but...

1) is it comfortable?
2) how much do you reckon it raises you compared to the stock seat?
3) do you know exactly which model seat it is?

Thanks, and sorry for the thread hi-jack folks!

First off, I would recommend downloading the V-Twin Mfg Catalog.
There are probably 100's of choices of seat styles other than what I chose.

1) yes, very much (but that's obviously subjective)
2) I estimate approx. 3"
3) VT# 47-0246

Not sure, but it appears that you may be underestimating the pogo-style mounting.
It and the battery cover are the hard parts. If you ask the questions, I'll do
my best to answer...

hope this helps,

T.

Taking delivery of my 2016 Softail Slim later today. Only concern is I MIGHT have to pad the seat higher. Maybe not. Let me join the chorus inquiring to know the model of the Corbin spring-leaf seat you have.

Hehh, well it's listed as #3 in the post above, but I'll repeat it here. V-Twin #47-0246

Again, that is the seat only. The pogo-mount is separate as is
the ECM & frame covers....

hope this helps,

T.

I re-read this again - are you referring to the passenger pillion?
I ask because the police seat is not on a leaf - its a pogo style.
Here's a pic at a different angle (I'm still working on rear fender mod)

hth,
