bought the slim 2 weeks ago
traded my road king
first to go was the pipes, went to heritage pipes FREE from the dealer so I could run saddle bags
next the rear fender to a full Deluxe fender
Other than that the slim has it all
Polished alum instead of chrome, low, black out style and black rims, love the bars and the smooth low ride

The Slim rides like a dream. Turns in great and pulls strong.

Love the looks of the slim but I'm really concerned about the small lean angle.

How much are y'all scraping the floor boards?

I scrape the floorboards fairly often but I am not sure that's really a problem. The Slim handles very well and is quite fun to ride in my opinion. It's never been an issue in town and it's certainly not an issue on the open road.

None issue here, as well. I have the rear shocks set on max load, and that gave me a bit more angle too.

As often as possible. So much fun. I want to switch them out eventually anyways and I don't think the resale on them is really strong so I decided I would destroy them before switching them. Good game plan or no??

I come from a sport bike background so I tend to be a little fearless in the corners. my lowering kit came in Saturday but now that this conversation came up I am kind of worried about lowering it....
