I have a 2014 Softail Slim. I have the Mustang seat with a back rest. It is a great comfortable seat. My avatar is the bike.

Default Love my slim.

I was going to buy another softail deluxe until I sat on the slim. Trade the sporty today and get them slim. You will never look back.

QUOTE=warrick;9835100]Anyone have one? I ride an Iron 883 and was just at the dealership over lunch, and happened to sit on one. DAMN! The thing sits as low or lower than my Iron and feels lighter also. He wanted me to ride it, but had to get back for a conference call. I am now scared to go back and ride it later this week, as I am afraid I may not be able to leave without it. I enjoy that the Sporty connects you with the road, but I am now in my 40's and have had some back problems. I would think the ride will be a whole lot better.

I am starting to worry I may do what I said I would not, get rid of the Sportster for a bigger bike. It does have the new 103, correct?

Thanks for any input or advice.[/QUOTE]

I stopped at the Kokomo Indiana Harley store on my 2010 48 and rode off on a 2013 soft tail slim. Best Harley I have ever had. Low, comfortable, balanced, and fast.

Congrats bdalen. You will not regret.
I stopped by a dealer two weeks ago on my Ultra Classic. Left with the Slim. Good to back on a Softail.

went in to buy a used 2000 fatboy (had one before) and saw the slim sitting in the floor. Not as stupid as I look, maybe I am, but I had to have the slim.
few upgrades, slipon Drag Specialistist Python pipes, 4" rise 1" pull backs, Passenger quick detach accessories, quick detach luggage rack.
