I know many will give props to their shotgun shock, fat spokes, pipes, etc... What is your favorite mod and why?
Myself...I can't say enough on the 1.5" Carlini Freeway bars. Pullback and width are perfect for my wide shoulders....plus the lines still look great for old skool cruiser look. BUT...most important, is the handling. Before w/ stocks, strong gusts and winds on the highway demanded a wimpshield....always contending with both body and bike. The Carlinis are solid against strong winds and only feel like my body is jerking around once in awhile and not the bike. Bottom line the Carlinis give confidence all around. Therefore, they are my favorite mod.
I should give a small mention to the new Samsons. Without baffles, they sure wake up cager's blind spots Worth a noise ticket or two.
My favorite mod was ordering a Lepera bare bones seat for my Deuce at the end of April and impatiently waiting for it to arrive. It may look good on my bike when I finally get it.
Today I have a 200 mile ride ahead of me. It is currently 41 degrees and raining. My favorite mod is my heated grips. Best money I ever spent on making the ride more enjoyable.
Might be out of the ordinary as far as it being my favorite mod, but I love what the rsd headlight relocator did for my crossbones. Small and simply, but I think it makes them look so much better.
