What's up guys. So i finally got some of my powder coated parts back. I don't want to re-use the lame looking stock bolts. I wan't to replace the bolts for my cam cover and transmission cover with chrome ones.
I know there is a few sites out there that sell the entire bolt kits but i can't for the life of me remember what they are (i thought i had saved them on my favorites on my lap top but i guess i didn't).
can anyone direct me to where i can get some chrome hardware ?
thanks guys. I'll start posting pics as soon as i get this stuff mounted on the bike.
Chrome bolts will start to rust on the bottom of the heads and will usually the chrome will crack or peel when you remove them. I posted some pics awhile back of a show polished stainless bolt kit that I bought on Ebay from cyclebolts. They look just as good as chrome but will look better longer. Take a look at item #320842634603. That is the kit that I bought and the quality and price are second to none.
Actually a full set of show polished stainless steel bolts for $100.00 is cheap. Show polished as in having all of the knurls removed from the heads. An equal set of chrome bolts would be well over $300.00 and most other selling polished stainless that I have seen were wanting almost twice as much as cyclebolts. Here are a few pics of the bolt set I bought from cyclebolts.
