Thanks for the best wishes. I now have some pics so here it is.
My first change will probably be adjustable extenders and floorboards for my wife. She's a tad height challenged, so that should make it more comfortable for her.
Those and a jiffy stand extender so I can see the darn thing!

Nice ride. The wife and I where looking at both the black one like yours and the Ember Red Sunglo/Merlot that we ended up getting, it looked close to our Sporty's colors, Fire red pearl and vivid black.

I was tempted to get the orange one, but didn't think the extra $800+ was worth it.
Great choice. We went from a Sporty to the Heritage and I find it much easier to handle. I hope you do also.
With the exception of muscling it around in a parking spot or the garage, yes the handling is much nicer. It's a more stable ride. I'm still getting used to the heal shifter, but it's coming along.

Yeah, we saw the ORANGE one and where thinking that if somebody said they could NOT see us they where lying. It was a little bit OUT there with that orange color. My wife at first was leaning towards that one but I was like, ehhhh , the safety orange is OK but not on the bike, we wear the reflective safety vests over our riding gear so people in cages will hopefully see us.

You will love your Heritage. I have had many Harleys over the past 40 years and have a 2010 Heritage that I bought new. They are by far the best bike that Harley has ever built. It covers all of the bases in style, comfort, reliability, easy to ride etc. After trying all makes and styles of Harleys I have concluded that there is nothing that will match it and the Heritage is the one that I'm sticking with.
