I just don't understand the gravitation towards the CVO models. A buddy of mine has a CVO Roadglide and still spent another $8k on mods to it. That's just plain stupid in my book. I've replaced just about everything on my Lo to make it mine and I'm still under $22k.
I like it just wish they made it in a standard model.
Dido, bike looks badass, just not the price tag. Im very happy with my blackline, just really wish it had a 200 rear tire on it and it would be perfect.

I'm with you on the 200 tire on our Blacklines. I'm working on fixing that this winter with a roland sands vintage kit and some ride wright fat spokes
I actually like the Breakout except for 3 things:
1. Price tag is just unreal for something not nearly as versatile as a full dresser.
2. I really don't like EVERYTHING bathed in chrome (hence my blackline purchase)
3. Did anybody see the videos at the show of the bikes (youtube it for a better idea of what the colors look like) on the yellow/gold and black/silver paint scheme's the tank is crazy high polish stuff. You'll go blind trying to ride that in daylight! The red looks like it doesn't have that issue, but i'd have to have it fitted with a black seat, the brown is too odd for me haha
I would however buy it if they make a standard non cvo softail version of it that's only partially chromed with a 103ci. But i would hope they'd keep the 240, i kinda like it

I kind of like the stile: a mix of a Rocker (too macho for my taste) and a Deuce (just didn't like the rear fender).
Just not sure on the colors. I will have to see them in person to evaluate.
Biggest downside is the price. Here in Europe they go for over 29.000 which is about 35.000$ at the current exchange rate... If you add some goodies like proper exhaust, new tune, and some other smaller stuff, it becomes very hard to swallow! I can buy me a Street Glide for that money and still go on holiday. Hmmmm...
But not a CVO Street Glide....lol You do get a lot witha CVO and you do pay for it. A friend has a CVO Road Glide and out in the sun that sucker is awesome. I was at the dealer today and saw a '13 Luxe with a green glitter panit and in the sun it has some appeal. Not sure if I want to look at it for years but cool just the same. CVO's are not for everyone, plus they are hand assembled too
Um, yeah. Bars, lights, fender, saddlebags, grips, levers, foot controls, windshield, seats, exhaust, SERT, air cleaner, some engine mods, console, tank pouch, cables.....need I go on?
It's amazing what you can get if you do your own work.

Sounds like you had to have bought your bike pretty low to do all that for that price. Some standard mods listed... if that's your bike in sig pic.. hardly a CVO. Looks sharp, but not even close to most Screamin Eagles i've seen.

That was my point. Why spend 30K+ on a bike that someone else has. They're not uniquely their own. I'm not gonna see another Lo like mine anywhere unless someone copies it exactly. But hey, if you have more money than brains, then go for it.
