Default Batwing fairings

Not trying to restart old threads but curious about all those that installed fairings on their bikes. Are you still glad you did? Do they always stay on? Anything you wish you had done differently? Thanks forthe info. Trying to decide wether to pull the trigger on one and which Oneida should get.

I put mine on a year ago, its come off once just because I wanted to feel the difference. It's a huge difference. I would have went with a better company like dragon fly or hoppe

I've got the one from Exotic Body Parts.. Wouldn't recommend them but I do love it.. Took forever to get and it was a lot of work to get it right.. never been off other than to clean behind it.. Love the tunes and its night and day over a windshield..

I like that looks of that. When I get the Street Glide urge I may go this route instead.

I've had my Hoppe for about 7 months and there is no looking back. I had a regular screen with the Boom audio before. The fairing is head and shoulders above that setup. I've had it off just once for a local poker run. Like all the others who have replied, I planned to use it only on trips, but like the tunes way too much.

I put the reckless fairing on mine also. Only comes off during winter storage. I put my own stereo in and painted it myself. Super happy with the outcome. From looking at pictures of other companys fairings i liked how the reckless looked like it was a little smaller to from the headlight up to the windshield

I have a woodys fairing (http://www.woodysfairings.com/) on mine and really like it. This is the second year I have had. I thought that I would only put it on for long trips early spring and fall but the first year it was on almost the entire time. This year after I got back from a 3,400 mile trip I took it off. I really like to be able to be able to go from having it to not having it. It really makes two bikes in one. Know others with them as well and they have all left them on. I also put my own stereo and speakers in as well. Go for it you will love the tunes and extra protection on trips and cold weather.
