Crazy Monster Build thread
WOW!!! That thing is sick!!!
I was down there about a month ago. I was down in Kent Sunday and then ran up to crabby Als in Thomaston. They have a cool raw bar on Sundays, 5 bucks for a dozen steamers with garlic butter!!!
I never run into custom bikes like that when I am out. Would be cool to shoot the **** with the guy who built that beast!!
I notice the right side chain drive, that must be a sportster right??

I had an 850 Suzuki in 78, thought it was pretty quick till a guy on an 1100 just shot away from me at a stoplight, lifting the front in the first three gears. Got to talk to him about it, he'd built the motor up, over 100hp. Lot of bikes today could take it, but at the time must have been one of the fastest bikes on the road in the country, would beat anything stock anyway.
The extended swing arm and supercharger will catch anyone's eye, of course, but a battery on a sporty that you can actually reach/change without using at least a few bad words is enviable. Too bad that won't fit on a standard sporty. I've never seen rearset pegs on a sporty (any Harley?) before either, but the way that supercharger is mounted, doesn't look like he had much choice. Might not get points for pretty, but sure looks like a very functional drag bike.

Interesting ride, that's for sure. Myself, I'd be making some kind of fairing to fill the ginormous gap between the back of the seat and the rear tire.
Won't find a bolt on part for that, I'm afraid. Kudos on the frankin-bike though.
And do NOT use that crappy, flat fender that looks like it fell off a $69 K-Mart trailer!
