This is what I was thinkin about. 140HP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultima-Black...52072f&vxp=mtr

The price is unreal and shipping is free. Any info on these???

If I sell my motor, the $$ aspect of this mod would very reasonable and affordable for me.

What is the deal with 10 to 1 compression and .640 lift cams listed in the ad?? Is that good??

Comes with a carb and all, looks like plug and play!!!

I googled the motor, tons of info in all the forums. Mostly good reviews.

I find that reading about products on the net is confusing. You can read 20 reviews that say a product is a complete hunk of **** and another 20 that say it is the greatest thing ever made. This summer my 14 yr old lawn mower **** the bed. I bought a huskavarna (sp?) and the thing has been great. I read a ton of reviews saying it was **** and a ton that said it was great. I guess I will see, but so far so good.

Then its a risk. Dont have an opinion either way. Herd both sides as well. S&S has a better rep. If it was a daily rider id go S&S but being a mad science project its your call.

The S&S definately has the rep and history. The prices are not really in my league though. I ride usually one time per week, so it wouldnt be a high mileage situation. We will see, just kickin around ideas.

Just read the whole thread ct and have to say you are one talented crazy effed up dude. Love the bike. While it does look much better in black, my vote goes for the fabbed up steel fender. Just goes with the heavy metal industrial look of the bike.

Donny Petersen who writes a column for American Iron Magazine and is a long time Harley builder/repairman just did a series of columns on the Ultima engines and likes them quite a lot. May be worth looking into.
