Oil can leak????
I have an 06 FLSTNI and since day one it has had what looks like oil on my oil can, it drives me nuts, the dealer said it was because I over filled the tank when I put an dipstick that had the temp gauge in it, he said the oil came from my air filter, well that may have been true then but it still does it after I clean it off and take it on a long run, has this happened to anyone? I have the stock oil dip stick on now and it is in the normal range. Any help out there?

Yeah, only a temp fix, I've looked at a couple of Deluxe's this weekend when we were riding the tail of the dragon and no one has the same issue I do, it starts at the 2 lines at the top of the can and is very light, it is of course smeared looking since it runs when you ride, it is not a lot but the can should stay clean IMHO.

I don't think so, it did it with my new temp gauge dipstick as well, will take it to my mechanic and pick his brain
