leaking gas cap ate paint
So bike recalled due to issue of leaking cap HD says not their problem ******* even tried to lie to me and say the recall was because it didn't vent enough. I had t in my hand and know how to read. said not covered under extended warranty.

I had the same issue, not quite as bad as yours, on my '10 shortly after I bought it and they replaced the tank. The told me they were having paint problems and not the first one they had seen. The filler neck mod seems to have taken care of my leaky cap as well.

When through a tank already on that issue had the guys warranty it at the dealer to bad to hear your dealer is a dick
