Just always pissed me off that Harley didn't make this so I did. Never a good place to put it and I was tired of dropping it. Took the retaining strap off my trucks cap. [IMG]
Yup. If I place it on the right side of the tank it just misses. Even if I put it on the left side it would just sit there quietly and NOT fall on the ground!
I hate it when that happens.
In NJ you can't pump your own gas... but NO attendant I know will pump gas into a Harley so... I just hand them the cap, give me the nozzle and make 'em stand there holding the cap till I'm done. Outside of NJ, it goes in my pocket. [:@]
I put mine on top of the gas pump, then I like to go back and get it after I'm about 5 minutes down the road and I can't figure out why there is a nagging feeling in the back of my head that I have forgotten something. [sm=headbang.gif]
