Well..it saves your stock tune...so you can always go back to that. There are 6 slots to store different tunes. I started with the canned tune for slip-ons and ac, I figured I could always fall back on that if the AT didn't work right. I don't think there's much risk of screwing something up....unless you start entering random settings on purpose. Dynojet tech support told me they made it pretty "idiot" proof...
BTW - Dynojet tech has been very helpful. I didn't buy mine thru the vendor here on HDforums. I found a much lower price with free shipping.
I've already saved the stock tune and loaded the MAP from Fuel Moto with my mods. Bike runs great, but I do get a little pinging on a really hot day.
I'm hoping the Auto Tune feature will fine tune things a bit.
I think that's the beauty of this thing...you can store a "hot day" tune for summer months and a "cool day" tune for others. Probably a higher MPG tune too. I'm going to enjoy playing with this thing...
Yep. I knew they'd be the future of EFI tuning for H-Ds since I read about them when they were first hitting the market. My ThunderMax has been serving me well and will need to put in a bit more time for me, but the PV is on my wishlist.

I have a better MPG tune stored on mine (I never use it though). I need to try the auto tune.
I just created an auto-tune for mine - worked even better than the tune that FuelMoto had manually tweaked for me a couple times. Love the idea of storing a few separate tunes for hot weather, cold weather, humid days, etc. I'll have to remember to log them when I ride.
