It's going to stiffen up the front end a lot...but not in a bad way. The bike will feel a lot more solid...hold it's position much better when cornering and braking...you just won't be riding Cadillac style anymore.

I put a little over 20k miles on my bike with the Progressives dropped 2 inches up front and enjoyed every mile.

shod, I did my old train back in 04, ride it like that til I sold it in late 06. The rear was slammed as well. Basically rode like a rigid because of how low I had it. Now planning on the same thing for my Luxe. If you want a nice smooth ride go air in the back otherwise it will be rougher. How much depends on how low you go and how much your back/butt can handle.

Before...with the 2 inch Progressive drop installed and the *** slammed...

After...stock springs reinstalled and the *** slammed...tail-dragger!!! The rear pipes went from a little more than 2 inches off the ground slammed to less than an inch now...

I think you'll find if you stand your bike up straight (floor stand maybe), that the left pipe is about an inch or so lower than the right one.

Benway, I think you're right.

When I first installed these pipes it took me a while to get them level. Lots of pulling and twisting and loosening and tightening.

I haven't checked it in a long time but I bet it's sunk back down. Time to get the wrenches out and start pulling it back up.

Checked it turned out to only be a half inch lower. 3/8 to be exact.

Looked a lot more in that photo but set up level and unmeasured few times really wasn't that bad

alright, thanks for the info. I just don't want it to feel like a rigid. I just lowered the back 2 inches with a kit that required no dis-assembly of the shocks( a couple of split clamps and thats it). I want to lower the front as well, but i don't want to have my eyeballs shake out of my head....lol.
