Default Had to try out 95" @18 degrees

Got my bike back today from shop with 95"/Stage II upgrade. 18 degrees out but WTF. Had to test her out. Put about 20 miles on before I could no longer feel my nose. If I had a full faced helmet I could have gone longer. It's supposed to got up to 32 degrees this weekend. Wahoo! Gotta get about 30 more miles in so I can flush out the oil.

Gotta say I can't blame you...Just sitting there after a mod like that would drive one crazy...I know you most likely took it easy, but what did you think?????

Just to rub it in, its about 60 and sunny here in northern Florida....

Did some heat cycles to help set the rings, then just babied it under 55 varing the rpms. I went with Andrews 26g cams for more torque over HP. Definately noticed more umph. Mostly noticed a better sound. More monsterious? Gotta get 500 miles on it before dynoed. Also added a SERT and beachbars. Signifiant difference in handling. Seems more responsive when moving but more muscle needs when going slow or pushing it. I'm gonna have to wait til it's warmer to do a day run for a final decision if I like them.

Sounds like fun! I am going to bestartingmy 95" on Saturday I think. I think I will take my time until it warms a little before getting it done, or I will have the same urge to try it out right away. It is been below zero and 35 below zero wind chills here in WI. You will have to let us know how you like it after a day of riding!

it will be like night and day believe me especially if you also did the heads you will never be able to go back to a stock machine again

I still have the stock head. If I'm not happy with results, I get the heads ported. Didn't want to build a racer, just more torque. Additionally, I only had limited budget. I already have the receipt hidden from the wife.

Ditch the 203 cams and get the 204.
Make the call before it's too late.
You'll thank me later.
