Default Do U like Springers More as U get older

Roll back to yr. 07, I could have bought a New Springer Classic (Their last Yr), but it was Green and no bags and shield.
SO I listened to Wife who ride 95% of the time,, She Didn't like it at all..

Now I just Salivate all over a Springer Softy...

Anyone else love the springer's now or wished they'd gotten one when they bought their present bike like I am????

Actually the earlier Heritage Springer is what Rings my Bell... the Red and white one makes my blood pressure rise and foam at the mouth every time i see one....

So U like or wish U had one....

I have my springer and will never let it go....I would never own any Harley unless it was a springer.

I loved them all the way back to being a kid...

This the MF'er that I drull over..

Though if I may say without being condescending, I don't care for Ur choice of bars.. but its Ur bike, and U done it for U not me so Pi$$ on my thoughts...

IMO those are the best looking bags that MoCo EVER made to put on a bike..

And the bike just Screams,,, Ole Schooool.. Its makes me think and takes me back to when I was about 10 in the late 50's and remember seeing all the Harleys on the road..

Just can't say enough about those bike back then and the feeling I had every time I saw one of them..

Bags. Fringe,, even Racoon tails flying on them.. OK I don't care for the Tails. But I still like/love the look of all the leather and fringe on a bike..

Thats why I guess I love our Heritage... Of course I've added a little bit to her... like all the leather and Fringe I've made myself (about $1k in leather) and put on her.

All you need to do is install a FL Springer front end to your Heritage...that's what i did with my Softail Deluxe.

There U go.... we all need to make the bike fit us... I was just lucky that at my size that he Stock seat and bars is the MOST perfect fitting Ergonomically of all the 11 bikes I've owned and I haven't had to change a single thing on her....

For the wife on the Rear,,, its was a totally diff story... New Touring pilling Pad.. new Touring Sissy bar pad with Detchable bars and FloorBoards for her to be able to ride for more than an Hour...

Spent over $1k but it was worth it.... now she can ride 3-4 hrs without pain whereas she could ride LESS than an Hr without having to go in with the Stock set-up......

Isn't it nice that the MoCo almost makes U spend $2-3K more to get Ur bike where it should be from the Factory...
O-Well if it makes them more Profitable and to be able to stay in Business.
And don't forget,,, ITS only MONEY...
