Looking for an LED headlight for my 08 Night Train but I can't decide. I'm hoping that there are some other just as good but cheaper types of LED Headlights out there.
For a 5 3/4" headlight the Daymaker was the only option I could find so I got an HID and did that instead. 2 HID's ran me $32 and a I ran them through a relay. I also took off the metal shield on teh bottom of teh HID bulb and it works great.
This is on my Dyna. My fatboy has the 7" headlight and I popped an HID in there too and it is nice and bright. On the way in to work this morning (yes I am working on Presidents Day) at 4:30 AM I could see great. I always come in when it is still dark out and I added the HID for this specific reason as I like to be able to see where I am going. Imagine that. But if you want a really simple plug and play get the Daymaker. I think it retails for $399.
