Post Harley Crossbones Ape Hanger Question

I have a 2010 Harley Crossbones and need honest opinions and suggestions about what ape hanger/riser combo to go with.

i was thinking either the 16" evil ape by carlini with the stubby chubby springer risers

or

16" nash pudgy gimp ape hanger with stubby chubby springer risers?

which one? or i'm listening to other suggestion?

will i need stiffer bushings or riser adapters?

if you have pics of yours i'd love to see them

thanks for your help

Very different styles you're talking about. How about a picture of your bike and then we can chime in? I personally run 16" Wild1Chubbys on 2" risers :-)

Hey Bud,
I just put on new bars. I did a custom 17in narrow bottomed 1in bar with the stock risers. With my lower profile seat, my hands sit right about eye level. I have the bars in line with the forks and it is comfortable.

might want to add poly bushings for the risers... the plastic ones wear quickly with apes. just my $0.02. good luck!

if you use stock risers on our new apes...you should use good n tight bushings. they will make your stock risers more solid.

if you go with the wild 1 stubby risers....they are rigid mount. no bushings at all. just a screw. they are rock solid. this is what im running. i love them
