I was drinking Everclear with a friend 3 years ago while we were fixing my rear brake. It was in his garage ... he had Dot5 fluid and that's what we used. I was supposed to use Dot4. Moral of the story ... don't get drunk while repairing your motorcycle.

I once put a new intake manifold on my Vette. I'd done stuff like that dozen's of times. Got it all together and was quite happy with the performance. But, as the week went by, the car slowly ran worse. Finally figured that it had to be a bad manifold. Took it off and found the shop rag wrapped around the push rods and stuck in the holes thru the head. After replacing a few push rods and a lifter the car ran fine. Unfortunately I wasn't drinking so I can't blame it on that.
